The Great Enterprise Bake Off!

We are second year Enterprise students based at SGS Filton Campus. We are working towards various vocational units in Business, Design and Hospitality. Our aim is to give back to the community using delicious food dishes.

Our Charity

All money raised from the Bake Off entries will be donated to our chosen charity Off The Record (OTR) charity.

We will be asking contestants to kindly donate their bakes to us so that we can distribute them to different areas of the community that we would like to help and give back to.

These areas include: NHS Staff, The Homeless, The Elderly, Low Income Families.

Enterprise Plus+ are looking for Bristol & Stroud's top bakers!

All types of bakers are welcome!

We are hosting a Bake Off Competition on Wednesday 26th May to raise money for Off The Record (OTR) Bristol and to give back to areas in our local community.

We would love for keen bakers to take part and have a go at making some scrumptious treats from the categories below!

How will the competition work?

Step 1

Choose a category from the list below
Use the entry form to enter the competition
Donate £5 to our chosen charity (this is the competition entry fee)

Step 2

Bake your delicious goodies!
Get your baked goods to one of the following SGS College sites on Wednesday 26th May:
SGS Stroud Campus: between 9am and 10.30am
SGS Filton Campus: between 11am-1pm
Remember to include your name, the baking category and allergy information along with your bake.

Step 3

The Enterprise Plus class and panel of judges will judge the bakes
Winners of each category will be announced at 4pm on Wednesday 26th May
Winning entries will receive wonderful prizes!

Important Information:

We would love to donate your bakes to various individuals and organisations within our local community. If you are happy to donate your bake we will be delivering them to the NHS, Care Homes, Homeless and Food Shelters.

If you are unable to donate your bakes to the College, please take photos of your entries and email to enterprise101@sgscol.ac.uk no later than 1pm on Wednesday 26th May so they can be judged with the other treats.

Allergen Information

If donating your entries, please take the time to write down a list of ingredients used and any information about allergens. Please supply this when delivering your bakes to SGS College as we can then ensure the safety of others involved in this event.

How to be Covid compliant:

A polite reminder to our bakers to wash hands frequently, wear face coverings or gloves if possible and to do a Lateral Flow Test before baking. Free tests can be ordered at: https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests
